Applique Snowman
Supply list:
Pattern: Snowman (available in the quilt shop)
Sewing machine, power cord, foot control
Sewing Machine Manual
Bring extra bobbins for your machine
Fusing Mat (A must for this class, Marie carries these in the shop)
Quarter Inch foot for your machine
Open Toe Foot or Applique Foot for your machine (VERY IMPORTANT!! You will need this for the machine applique portion of the class)
Thread-a 50 weight or 60 weight thread to match all your fabric choices or a chocolate brown looks beautiful. Bring what thread you have at home to match the applique pieces, and we can look at everything.
Thread to match and sew on your binding.
PRIOR TO CLASS-
Please layer your backing fat quarter, your batting and your background fat quarter and quilt. You can do a simple grid, or you can meander or loop de loops. I quilted snowflakes behind my Snowman.
The Applique pieces will need to be attached and sewn to the quilted background!
If you have your quilting done before class then you will 99.9% have your project completed when you leave. Binding will be on and ready to hang or give away to a friend.
