Store Incentives
Times are tough right now so I've implemented some incentives for my customers. We'll call it the Runs with Scissors Stimulus Plan.
First, everyone has a birthday, and although you might lie about how old you are to your friends, getting older is a good thing here! On the day of your birthday, come in to enjoy a discount of half your age! So, if you're turning 60 you'll get a 30% discount on your entire purchase! See, age does have its benefits! I.D. required for discount. If your birthday falls on a day that I am closed you may come in the next business day. This discount is on regularly priced merchandise. This is for your own personal use (not your friend's or guild's use, please). During a sale you will receive whichever discount is greater!!
Second, I have Fabric Cards! Think of them as coffee cards for quilters. For each 10 yards of regularly-priced fabric you buy you'll get 1 yard free! Once your card is full it will get entered into a drawing to win a $25.00 gift certificate to my store. To make it even easier, I'll keep your cards on file for you so you won't ever have to worry about not having it with you.
Thirdly, you'll get a 20% discount for any supplies, patterns, or fabrics purchased for a class you take here at the shop.
We will be happy to hold an item for you for up to 48 hours. If unpaid it will be returned to inventory. We can take phone orders with credit card payment. We ask that you pick up your orders as soon as possible due to limited space, or we can ship it to you.
We have Best Press Starch Alternative available for refills - bring in your empty bottle and I'll refill it for $5.00!

THE Pillowcase Challenge: RunsWithScissors Donations: 1378
as many of you know, I have joined the American Patchwork & Quilting Magazine's 1 Million Pillowcase Challenge: Make a Pillowcase, Make a Difference. Throughout the entire 2011 year I'll be collecting pillowcases to be donated locally to a charity of our choice, including shelters, nursing homes, children's hospitals, and more. The pillowcases you make will be used right here in our community, and we're accepting pillowcases for any age group.
